I'm having a Nightmare since 2 weeks ago when Sharkservers website went down (sharkservers.co.uk / Sharkserve.rs), along with all my over 20 websites that stopped working since the domains are using Sharkservers nameservers. I have no way of contacting Sharkservers, no way of changing domain nameservers and no way of transferring the domains.

Sharkservers .rs website currently has a message saying "We are currently experiencing a technical issue. Please check back later", but the message has been there two weeks straight and no indication that someone is actually working on the problem.

I have read in a forum where Sharkservers recently announced that they wanted to sell the company because of personal reasons of the owner, and I believe that the fact that their website went down has to do with that. However, no new owner has showed up and no information about this from Sharkservers whatsoever.

    What I want to do:
Get control over my domains, hosted at Namecheap.

What I have done so far:
    1. I have tried to contact Sharkservers on their different e-mail addresses, no response.
I have also tried to contact the owner on his Linkedin and Facebook account, no response.

    2. Sharkservers is using Namecheap as registrar for their customers domains, so they have an account there with all the domains. I have tried contacting Namecheap about this to be able to get my domains transferred to my Namecheap account that I opened. But support chat couldn’t help so I had to open a ticket, got response that they have forwarded the case to their Risk Management Team, awaiting response but have not heard from them in 5 days.

This situation is a nightmare since my websites won’t work and I’m losing my businesses and income I worked really hard for building up. I know it was dumb not registering domains on my own instead of through Sharkservers. But I never though this sort of thing would happen. I have been a customer at Sharkservers for 3 years and everything have been working good, until now.

I have an entire backup of my server, so all I need to do is getting control over my domains and point to a new server.

Is there anyone else here using Sharkservers or have been in a similar situation? Is there anyone who has a good idea of what I should do? I’m thankful for any advice!

Yup they are down and I doubt they ever going to up again. I was using win VPS with them, they were really good.

But registering domain with hosting site? How can you do that? Only option is talking to name cheap.

Best of luck with this situation.

Good luck with that. The risk management of Namecheap are a bunch of fuckers. They didn't help me at all. OP, don't expect anything from them.

I gave them evidence in form of receipts, my correct e-mail address, name, address etc., but they still didn't want to give access to my domains. I hope the best for you OP. I have been with Sharkservers as well, but changed after a few months, because my websites went down too often. Gave me so many errors, tried to fix it with Sharkservers, but this shit just happened too often. I had to message them every two weeks.

They are absolutely not reliable and I am not wondering why they suddenly do this shady stuff to you and other website owners.
