Niche Website journey to 1000v/day

Main purpose from this journey:

I'm going to start this journey hoping to reach 1000 vistors a day using social profiles. Means getting some cash mean while.
I've bought yesterday a domain name looking pretty and i've started setting up the website.
My niche is recipes.
So i'm going to use pinterst as a priority to get traffic.
So..
For today:
I will add like 8 another recipes / already did 2
Fix website sidebar and logo and background
Create a pinterst account and set it up
Set up a tumblr account
Create a facebook pages
Join some related groups.

Now gonna watch a movie and come back to work later.
I hope this will help so many of as weel as me.
I'm waiting for your recommendations and advices especially about pinterst how to use it the right way because it will be my first time with it.

Will update when i finish those steps.

1k visitors a day is a great milestone to reach, but if you are going to monetize your site with ads, then it's not gonna get you much money. Maybe 5 USD or a little more in a day.
