I have an instagram account with about 10k followers and growing which follows a niche market

I'm interested in starting a t-shirt/apparel business for this market.

I was curious on a few things ( I will search BHW as well, just wanted to post so I have something to come back to incase I hit a dead end)

    1) Where do you find your designers, especially in a niche market?
    2) How and where do you sell? shopify or do you have a wordpress site?
    3) How do you pay your designer?
    4) Do you make the shirts per order or have the shirt up for a limited time then print all at once?
    5) Where do you have your shirts printed?

    That's all for now

    thanks!

There are designers on the BHW market place, or you can post in 'Hire A Freelancer'. Most people use print on demand services like TeeSpring or Amazons new service. These services take care of everything once you've sent the design but obviously take a larger chunk than if you get the shirts printed yourself.

I contacted my designer on Facebook when I saw a project he did. I was impressed and knew right away he knew my niche very well :) I pay him 50% of the sales. We use teespring
