Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to IM. I've done a lot, but not exactly what I liked to do.

Today I was doing some keyword research to start my new project, and I found a niche with about 50 millions monthly searches. The competition is low, but there is nothing special on the first page (except wikipedia and some twitter stuff).
It's a two-word keyword and both of them are general words. The most important note about it is that the exact keyword is available with .org and there are no websites online on .com and .net domains!
What do you think of it? Is it worth it?

I bet you haven't checked "exact" matches.

Go for local searches, US, minimum 500 or 1000. Or find a couple of 500-1000 >> local<< searches keywords.

How many times are people going to make these retarded posts? Learn how to do keyword research first before making these sorts of threads...you wouldn't even share the niche even if it did have 50 mil keywords, so what is the point?

And it all depends on the type of niche and keyword to determine how many searches is enough. If you have buying keywords and highly targeted you don't need that many...and don't rely on Google too much the results they give aren't 100%
