Just a quick thank you all again.

Researched a niche, got a site with the keyword, waited for it to get cold outside and BOOM! visitors go trough the roof.

Am absolutely sure that i dont make as much is i can from this but hey! it works!

Nice work, it feels good doesn't it? :)

Keep testing and scaling what you're doing now and you'll be golden.

Congrats on your success Kawamster .

I know what you mean about feeling like you're leaving money on the table. It may be a bit obvious, but make sure you do a google search of your keyword + affiliate to see what other $$$ opportunities may be available to you.

I think it's better if you share to us which methods of niche research and web promotion you did.

without revealing my niche (hehe, gonna sell the domain after the hype settles for this year) i can tell you what i did.

    1. Did research in my country on what the biggest internet hype was. I mean search for press releases on "most wanted on the internet" "most searched etc.)

    2. Grabbed Market Samurai from this forum and researched all the topics that came up from my previous search.

    3. Got a domain name with my nich in it (was suprised to see it was free) Domainname contains niche-and buy so it is something like buy-ski-online

    4. set up the domain with wordpress, did very good SEO ( i try to stick as many related keywords that come up with market samurai as i can get in a fairly readable sentence) , got some links from related portals and upped the site.

    5. filled the site with affiliate products and with a blog that talks about related subjects

    6. Added google adsense

And waited for the season to start. Mind you that this succes will be short. it only freezes a week or two each year overhere so next moth i'll be back to quarters and pennys.

Still doubt if i should sell the domain or not

Or you can hang on to the domain and research and find out the niche for the next season and try to monetise from it. In about a years time you could end up with seasonal niches which you can use again and again and money all year round? :D

Unless you get top dollar for it, I wouldn't sell it. It's like having an annuity that never goes dry.

I might be looking at other domain names that are similar if I were you and really take advantage of what you have already accomplished.

True that. Replicate the method across several niches. They say it gets easier to do after the first few times. Plus, you can use the current site to drive traffic to the new niche.

Alternatively, you might want to see if you can replicate the same method and niche across borders. If it works in one country, it might work with the right twists in another country.

Ok, lookes like the hype is over for this year for my niche. Made about 3500 euros That is about 5000 us dollars. Top days gave my about 4000 uniques and made me about 300 euros a day.

Now it is time to get off my success cloud and start finding more niches and keep working on that. This was a awsome ride the past month. Hopefully i'll be able to repeat this with other stuff and then try and reach an english audience since this one was in dutch.

If i can get some of these annual recurring stuff to work for me i am ready to quit my dayjob. That is my ultimate goal and would give me even more time to get this done.

Thanks again to all blackhatters outthere. It can be done is my message to all starters. (still consider myself a starter also)

Great job kawamaster! Planning and acting is HUGE in this business. And a $5000 profit is always very nice.
