    Welcome to my Journey.

I am in no way a beginner in the IM industry. I had been busy with some software dev projects for sometime, so my passive income sites have all vanished. I really enjoy passive income and miss it the most.

I am still engaged in the software dev project but have a little free time to indulge in creating a passive income stream.

The Plan: Create niche blogs that will be monetized through adsense/amazon/affiliate and rank'em on Google for their keywords.

Tools: Amazon AWS (For hosting and VPS for SEO Tools)
    GSA SER
    GSA Captcha Breaker
    SEnuke
    Scrapebox
    Long Tail Pro
Experience with Python to build small automation tools.
    SEnukeX

    Current Blog:
It is in the automotive industry. Three primary keywords combined produce around 22K exact match searches on Google per month. Very targeted, so I think conversion will be good.

I have put up 10 pages of content on it. Did a small SEnuke + GSA blast the other day. All pages are properly optimized for on-page SEO.

Ranks: (Top three are the primary keywords.)

WHY EVERYONE SHOULD USE AMAZON AWS

1.) Very easy to change server config on the go.
2.) You can pause your server, and you will only be billed on hourly basis. So if you need 20 VPS for the next half hour, with exact same software on all of them, it just takes a few clicks.
3.) You can change server IP easily.
4.) You can also use low capacity Linux ec2 instances for proxy and kill them once you are done. Very cost effective.
5.) Top notch performance and reliability.

Everything still solid at GSA running at 400 threads. Look at the stress on the server.

    Day #1:
Sucks! I had GSA cleaning up a huge list for the past 36 hours, and it CRASHED!!!
So I killed that server, started a new server with 32 core cpu @ 2.9 GHz and 64 GB Ram; 10 Gigabit internet.
This beast costs like $3/hour. I will be done setting everything up in like next hour or two.
I will just try to make up for the last time and run through the list in GSA SER at max threads possible.
I think with this I can eat through the list in the next few hours, and then switch back to a normal ec2 instance.

Update: Well the server was an overkill. GSA is not running above 1000 threads, even though I have set max threads to 10000 :p
But the 10 Gigabit line was really really helpful, everything is like 50 times faster. So even though am not running too many threads, the list is going to be cleaned up in a few minutes.

Even though I know it is not practical to run everything on this server due to the high costs, but man, I am in love with it. This is the first time I have ever used a server with such insane specs. Everything runs like a dream. It is eating through the list which the other server took like 36 hours. I don't think it will take more than 100 minutes.

Update: After I was done cleaning the list on the monster server I setup a project on GSA SER that will blast my small size PBN I built with spare domains and content from WordAI. I am getting around 70 LPM. This is the first time this list is being used, so we can expect things to speed up a lot after one run.

Well there is a slight learning curve if you want to use AWS efficiently. Fortunately for me, I had to learn it as a part of my ongoing software projects.

Can you share what tactic you are using with GSA SER to rank small niche sites?

I never use GSA SER to build link to my money sites. This is my setup:
Create blogs with semi-unique content on custom domains, all these blogs link to my money site.
Create blog network on free blog sites, this link to my blog network on custom domains.
Build GSA SER links to the free blog network.

    My GSA Setup:
If the list I have is new, I first run it through the Cleanup tool (Options -> Advanced -> Tools)
After this I run a campaign and let it finish. The number of threads depend on the VPS config. I usually do about 400. Though I can never run above 1000 threads as GSA SER is a 32 bit program and cannot use more than 3 GB ram (I hate GSA for this).
Once I have run a campaign on the complete list, I delete the list from identified, failed, unknown. I merge the list from verified and submitted. Remove any duplicates and put it in identified. This way the GSA speed increases easily 5X to 10X.
I don't use any captcha service, because at the volume I am building links, it would cost me a lot. I only use GSA Captcha Breaker.

If you have GSA SER but don't have Captcha Breaker, I think you should buy it. You will easily cover the initial cost just in a couple of projects.
Today I saved $120 something through Captcha Breaker.

If you have any specific question, let me know. I might be able to help you better that way.

My website is dropping from the SERPs. -200ish drop in two keywords.
I have not built any links apart from the blog network to it.
I am not drawing any conclusions as of now, I will wait for a couple of days to see if I really have negative impact.

Update: The websites have recovered from the drop.

    Day #2
Finished setting up a SEnuke campaign for one of the blogs that links to money site. Should be done within the next hour or two.
In the meantime. I have to get content for new blogs and SEnuke campaigns. I am going to scout ezine for quality articles and spintax the shit out of them.

Haven't worked on any SEO project for the past 10 months or so. Although I never forget to read up on everything new that is happening in the SEO world.

Update: SEnuke project completed, I now have about 200 links that I want to index asap. What better way than blasting the shit out of them with GSA SER. I am setting up the campaign right now.

Update1: GSA project to build links to senuke links has now been setup. This time, I am only posting to the verified list and getting a vpm of about 150 on GSA SER

I have found their own documentation enough till now.
Don't try to learn everything upfront. Learn when the need arises. They even have free service for one year (for the smallest ec2 instance) if you signup with your debit/credit card.
From there, whenever you are stuck just Google "how to do X with aws" or whatever question you have.
Just get the free account, play around. You will get a rough idea of what all this platform is capable of.

    Day #3:
I have continued building more links to the website. Ranked at around 90 :p

Started another blog, related to android. It is very easy for me to write technically complex content. So I am going to do keyword research with this in mind. The blog will not be about android dev though, I have no experience in that. Once I am done with keyword research I will start with writing atleast 50-ish posts before I worry about off-page seo.
