I've been marketing on Youtube for a couple years now.

And one thing I've noticed, without a doubt, Google favors YT accounts that
are targeted towards >>>> ONE specific niche. So does YT.

As opposed to a multi-niche account, that targets several completely different
    niches.

For example, all my local YT accounts, each account is targeted towards 1
specific, local business niche. And they have loads of videos, all targeting
subniches within that niche. But ALL the videos are extremely relevant to each other.

And the one MAJOR benefit I noticed with accounts like this, is often times, videos
wind up ranking on google withOUT any backlinks at all.

The ones that don't, when you DO send backlinks they rank A LOT faster than the
videos in my multiniche accounts. Those smaller accounts that just have a few
    videos from various different niches.

I've noticed the same thing with Clickbank niches. I have an account that has lots
of videos, all extremely relevant to ONE niche. And as I was uploading new, relevant
videos to that account, after a couple months I noticed LOTS of videos ranking on
G, without any backlinks at all.

Then once I started backlinking the videos that weren't ranking (these were my most
competitive videos), they ranked FAST. In 4 weeks max.

Now I'm trying mixed niche accounts, and I'm noticing that it confuses the shit out
of YT and Google. Videos don't "autorank" on their own. The videos you DO backlink,
even with perfect onpage SEO, and good backlinking, take MUCH MUCH longer to rank
in G. What I tend to see is an overcompensation factor.

You wind up needing A LOT more views, a lot more likes, a lot more backlinks, just to
    rank in YT and G.

    Has anyone tested this before?

    All I'm saying is this.

I have about 4 targeted YT accounts, each account with between 20-70 videos.
Those accounts ALL target keywords, very relevant to each other. So its basically
    1 dominant niche per account.

Then I have like 9 smaller accounts, with 2-3 videos each, each video targeting
completely unrelated keywords. And those accounts, regardless of age, NEVER perform
well. They CAN perform eventually. But you really NEED to blast the shit out of those
types of videos. It takes so many more views and backlinks, and A LOT MORE TIME
    to see results.

Now, am I inventing things in my head, or has anyone else noticed this pattern?

yes of course. things like playlists, which videos featured your video on the sidebar, all pass relevant linkjuice to your video. its all because of the internal linking strcuture.
