Hello,

I think of transferring a domain to nicenic.net, but I tried their website, i even registered cheap domain to test.

I don't understand, what the option to upgrade DNS, either to NDNS global or advanced for a fee per year?

Can someone explain this?

Also had anyone tested their process to transfer the domain from them to another registrar, I see that to get domain auth code you must contact support, was your experience good or there was an issue?

At Nicenic, the “upgrade DNS” option refers to their premium DNS services:

NDNS Global – Their global DNS network for faster worldwide resolution and better uptime.
Advanced DNS – Adds extra features like more DNS records, load balancing, and DDoS protection.

Both are optional and come with an annual fee; if you don’t need those extras, you can stick with the free basic DNS.

Regarding transfers, yes, you need to contact their support to get the domain auth/EPP code. Most reports suggest it works fine, but response times can vary, so it’s best to plan ahead if you need to transfer out.
