Hey guys.. I've tried everything to have a news article removed about me that happened about 4 years ago. I've contacted the website editors, etc. No luck.

I type my name and this damn article comes up #1.

I need to have this thing removed or banned. I'd really like to hire someone who is knowledgeable about this stuff and will potentially spam it to its death. What can I do to get this thing removed from google? Obviously the site won't take it down.

    1) Have your lawyer contact them and threaten to sue
    2) If 1 doesn't work, make a facebook page on your name, twitter, linkedin, youtube, vimeo, instagram, etc. and rank them high, they'll overpass the article very easily.

nSEO isn't a solution. It only brings bad karma and most of the times it backfires.

If you need further help PM me with budget and specs.

Would obviously like to get it removed as cheap as possible. I have tried building all these social media accounts but have no idea how to rank them high. The site in question is ranked too high. Its a local news station with tons of traffic. I'm not so sure I care about bad Karma as its #1 so what is the worst that could happen?? Any thoughts??

If its a local news station, you can probably get someone on phone or may be pay someone to get your job done.

This is one of better suggestions I read here. I had similar problem in local rankings, but with company name and I had about four negative rankings, because it was really well distributed.

    1. Create profiles in great websites as mentioned in quoted comment, add as much info as you can
    2. Create small website, websites about you with many words (<1500 words about your name)

If you have money, outsource with SEO guy, company.

    Cheers

Don't spam the news site, it will back fire horribly. You might knock it out for a day or week, but it will come back stronger then ever... Authority sites like that don't respond the same as a small site being negative SEO'd.

Once it's out there, it's out there. I mean yeah, you might get that site down, but the info is still "out there," is what I mean.

Is this Sam from Amy's Baking Company?
