Hey guys,

Noticing the threads around here with newbies asking for help to make there first dollar and such. Well I have a method that is really basic and works very well. This is for the newbies only because it is pretty obvious, but by reading what some of the people been saying around here, many of them actually don't know this. Once again, very basic. Newbies method. I also posting this because the newbies loved my last thread.

You will need:

  • Hosting. Take a look at HostGators hosting. Sign up for the baby plan. It has unlimited domains which you may want for future projects and you can always upgrade. Non-Referral Link. Referral Link. Both links will get you the same in the end, the referral link just gives me a commission.
  • A domain: GoDaddy is good. If you are using non-verified paypal then use Name or NameCheap.
  • Knowledge to find keywords, you may buy Micro Niche Finder if you have the money. It is what I use.
  • Scrapebox. It costs around $57. It's a great tool. It can be found here. You may also purchase SEO services from people. You may use SEnuke or xrumer instead.
Here We Go!

Once again, this is a very basic method.

First thing is first, finding your keywords. You may buy Micro Niche Finder of download Market Samurai in downloads sectino. For people who don't have tools, go to Google Adwords Tool. Start searching some keywords. Find a product, but not a brand. Like double baby stroller or something. Unique + Product. You also may use Google Wonder Wheel to find keywords too. It must have at least 3000 monthly searches. Next, go to Google and search your phrase inside quotations. Example "double baby stroller". If results are less than 30,000 this may be worth going for. Now search your keyword in Google, what are top 3? Does it look like you can compete for this? This is your own judgment.

After you find a keyword, look for sub keywords. Something like "double baby strollers for cheap" could be a sub keyword.

Next, go buy your domain. .com or .info is your preference. It must contain your keyword. If you just can't find one that contains your keyword, try getting one that contains most of your keyword.

Then, setup you domain. You must open the email HostGator gave you with your account information. Copy the 2 name servers to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, NameCheap, etc). Then head over to your HostGator control panel. Click addon domain. It is self explanitory here. Just put your domain in, some text boxes will automatically add some text, just leave those boxes, and just add the details to the blank text boxes. You will need to create a password and such. Next, go back to your CPanel. Click on Fantastico. It is near the bottom. Setup Wordpress. At the end of the setup, it should give you are a link to your admin page. If you do not under stand the setup of the Wordpress site, please watch this video. I did not make it, I just found it and thought it was a good enough explanation for you guys:

Navigate to your admin page and login. You will need to first delete the first post that was made by the system. Then on the left side, find the Appearance option, click it, navigate to themes. Click Add at the top and then you may search the text box for themes, but I recommend click recently updated. This will show the themes that are cared for and update and fix errors. Most of these themes work error free. Just find a REALLY basic, white theme. Install and activate it.

Next, time to add plugins, navigate to plugins using the left side bar again. Click add, now search and activate each of these plugins:

All in One SEO Pack - This will just get you organic traffic.
Easy Privacy Policy - Google Adsense requires you to have a Privacy Policy.
Google XML Sitemaps - Creates a sitemap for Google.
SEO Smart Links - Just another plugin for Google.
WordPress Database Backup - To save all your posts.

Play around with those, set them up.
After you have setup all those, go to Permalinks under Settings and choose a setting that shows the post title in the URL, that will help you SEO.

Next, make your first post. You can purchase articles or write your own. Include the keyword a few times throughout the article. Post one every 2-3 days, or less. Remember to write about your sub keywords too. As your blog gets more traffic, you may want to post more often. Try to refer to Clickbank products and post random Adsense ads in your posts. Make your Adsense ads match your website theme. Make the ads look like they are part of the website.

After you have your first few posts up. You may want to add a few right away to give it a start.

Fire up Scrapebox, xRumer or SEnuke, or place your SEO service order. Start doing some small link building. Don't over do it. In scrapebox, I would do 200 successful posts per day for about 2 weeks. Note, not all 200 posts will be posted, you will probably only get like 40 or so backlinks from it. After 2 weeks, start increasing, but increase slowly and keep posting.

Setup Google Webmaster Tools and submit your sitemap.
Check your rankings once a day.

Don't stop posting and link building. It takes time to get traffic.

If you are bored waiting for organic traffic and want traffic now, continue what you are doing but also start trying this Twitter Method.

Questions? Just comment here. If I haved helped, click Thanks or Give Rep, it is appreciated.
I also have SEO services if you cannot find someone to suite your needs.
Don't let this method slide, use it now and start bringing in the money.

To Your Success,

Macdonjo3

Very good, and direct to the point. Its exactly said as i would do. This is a very simple resume to autoblogs, and yes it does work. I haven't made a dime fomr my blog now cause I got fucked by adsence, but I am 1 for my keywords for my 2 blogs.

Just a question for your keyword research, you use exact match or not?

I usually use exact. I play around with it. If the keyword looks good overall, I go for it.

what plugin can i use to check(backlinks, etc) top 3 sites for the keyword?

To check the backlinks for the top 3 sites for the keyword, please use keyword elite 2.0. It is available for download in the downloads section.

really nice post , very useful for newbies. But if possible please give some more tips to drive traffics to website.

I guess what worries me the most is competition. I know I need to take action but competing against established sites is the first thing that comes to mind. I'm looking at a couple of keywords and clickbank offers, so I'm still brainstorming. Will report when I set everything up.

I am a very big fan of "Set & Forget". I used to set keyword targeted MNS and do small link wheeling and article submission and forget about it. I do it everyday for new keyword. After 2-3 weeks I check my ranking for the 1st time. 80% of my sites rank on 1st to 7th position. Those which don't rank i flip them and invest the money on new domain. Already enjoying a steady good income with this method.
