Hey

I wonder how to go about seeing how my site is doing it in google.

I mean I would like to enter a search phrase and hit the button (google.com), then in the SERP I would like to see where my site is..

I know I can go through the result from google, but isn't there a better tool? Lets say the google result was 38000000 pages, don't want to use weeks to go through all those pages while looking for my site

any suggestions?

use site:"yoursite"
like site:secureunity.com

use site:"yoursite"
like site:secureunity.com

This isn't what I'm looking for.

Lets say I go to go0gle.com and enter "seo" and hit the button. What tool can I use to see where this site ends up in the result?

I think you can do this with ranktracker, but maybe your site has to be in the top 1000

SEO tools like Market Samurai usually give you an option to add your site and monitor how it does in the SERPs for certain keywords. Market Samurai is shared here somewhere I think. But I dont really know whether there is a quick way to do that via an online tool or something.

What about this...
Code:
http://www.seogta.com/seotest/keyword-position.php

I used to use a better one but I lost after a reformat

Or just select 100 results per google page and then use the find box in Firefox and type in your site's address...go through the pages and you'll find it

okay. I've gone through the google SERP's and the SERP didn't have any link to my page.

I searched for: coolest signatures
site: www.currentsignature.com

I've been doing some modifications to the site today and was wondering if it have had any effect:
- Uploaded sitemap to google
- Each page has an individual description (meta tag)
- Logo, has the alt tag full of keywords
- Replaced some div with H1 (used css to format the H1)

Despite that effort I cannot find my site among the search result..

tips are welcome on what I should improve next?

is the site indexed? That would be a good starting point :P

Change your METa Keywords to have coolest signatures in it

Change your Meta descirption to have coolest signatures in it

G still have your Title to "Welcome to Coolestsignatures.com" I see you changed your title, now you have to wait for G to adjust you around.

Now I've done as you suggested. Hope G isn't sleeping to night... thank you :)

any other things I should improve for getting on the first page of SERP is welcome
