newbie - seo guidance needed

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie. I am doing seo for one of my client site.http://www.chennaipage.com. managed to bring the site from 10th page to the 2 page in google. trying to bring the site to the first page. (keyword - educational consultants chennai)

i do blog commenting, article posting, directory submission, (manually)etc..

Traffic for the site is really low. How i can improve the traffic as well as the alexa ranking?

You need to have your keyword in your site, making a section that would look like chennaipage.com/education-consultants-chennai a possibility?

Make sure to check Analytics for keywords that you aren't targetting but could be profitable, that would greatly increase your traffic.

Directory submission for a site like this would be essential, if you have the money to invest paying for it would save you a lot of time.

I would also outsource 2-3 Ezine worthy articles and get those up, if it is searched a lot this will build some nice traffic from Ezine and raise your SERPs for a high PR backlink.

The biggest problem that I see is lack of SEOs permalinks (could have missed it though) that would greatly increase SERPs. Make sure to redirect old pages to new pages though if you change link structure ETC. Otherwise you will lose all your work so far.

There's lots of ways to automate your traffic generation. I'd look into outsourcing and scrapebox. hope it helps
