Sorry if this is common sense. For example, if I wanted to rank some youtube videos by making some web2.0 Backlinks (hubpages, squidoo), will there be any penalty if all ok my hubs/lenses are on the same account?

I suspect not and that Google would not know or care, but thought I would check.

    Thanks!!

I'd add to Penumbra and say that each site should have a different username - G will track this later if not now. Think about future crawls and make sure you are covered.

Its always better to have accounts on many different propeties and use them for backlinking.

It's fine to use the same email for all of them but just make sure that your using varied usernames. That would be the only footprint unless your username is generated based on your email.
