    Hey guys,

I have some web experience but I am looking to get into the affiliate or cpa field to make some money.

I have a clickbank account already that I signed up for a few days ago and i have been reading a bit about all of this but I still have some questions:

    - What is the difference between affiliates and CPA?
    - I know I need a website with a landing page with my hoplink in there, but how do I promote it? I have read about writing articles to ezine and submitting them but how and what do I write my articles about and where do I promote the link to my webpage?

Please help me with some tips or help, I really want to start out in this field.

Thanks for your help in advanced!

Hi. Let me try to help you with my limited knowledge.

-as far as I know the basic difference between affiliates and CPA is that with affiliates usually you get commission based on sales (percentage of the price) a.k.a you're a sales person. With CPA usually you will promote several offer in the form of email submit, zip submit, etc (so usually the companies use this information to build database of leads). Because of this, mostly you will get lower payment from CPA, for example you will get from $0.5 to $1 per email/zip submit. But you will have better conversion because people don't need to buy something (however in some cases, people need to enter their CC number to join or pay for trial offer). Because of the high conversion, you will need to lower your conversion by sending junk traffic or other ways. You need to do this because you have to avoid suspicion, especially if you use blackhat method to drive traffic to CPA offer.

With affiliates you will get bigger money per sales (usually it range from percentage and fixed number), for example 75% from the sales price or fixrd $30 per sales. You will however get lower conversion because people need to pay bigger money than completing CPA offer.

    - you can promote your website with so many ways, for example: making a video about your website's content theme / keywords and then watermark the video with your website URL; doing PPC with either Adbrite / Google Adwords and drive traffic to it; doing social bookmarking with SENUKE of Bookmarking Demon; building / spamming :) links with XRUMER; writing articles on your keyword and include link to your website; etc.

About the last method (writing articles) you need to do these steps:

    - you have to know your keyword (keywords that you're targeting / in simple way..what is your website about? is it about blogging? is it about weight loss? of is it about boxing? etc. So if your website is about weight loss, then you can write articles about: how safely lose weight? how to do diet? what kind of exercise you need to do? etc. You should learn more on the importance of keywords to make a good articles.

    - after that you write / rewrite articles about that certain keyword(s), you should go for 400 to 500 words article. You should writes non-duplicate articles (this has nothing to do with Google duplicate content myth, it's just because Articles Directories will reject your article if its duplicate). hint: if you do article rewrites, then your need a tool called Power Article Rewriter, this tool will help you make many version of the same articles. You also need to use Dupecop, this tool will calculate how unique your rewrited articles compared with the original article. You should go for 60% to 75% uniqueness.

If you write original articles, then you need to check your article through copyscape (copyscape.com). This will help you find out whether your articles have duplicate or not on the web.

    - then you submit those articles to Articles Directories (for example Ezine Articles). There are so many articles directories out there, just use Google to find it. hint: there are tools that will help you automate the submission process.

    - you should include your link to your website on your biography. You will find out more about this when you try to submit your articles to articles directories.

    well that's all I guess.

    hope that helps.
