I am wondering if building my private network is a good spend of my time or should I focus on any other type of backlinking? I am trying to master a backlinking method so that after a month I can start sending backlinks to my website. (medium comp niche)

Why would anyone talk him out of building his own network to buy links from here. U know any good network on here is eventually gonna get taken down

It depends on what you want to do in the future, what kind of sites you want to build etc.

For example, if you plan on simply having 2 or 3 sites than no it's not worth it.

If you plan on launching 25+ sites, that you're serious about IM and that you plan on doing this for a few years, then yeah it's worth it.

I've done it in the past and building a PBN is quite time consuming and it can get expensive if you outsource everything from content writing to web development. I wanted to create a large network of more than 30 sites so I outsourced everything. But if I had done it myself, if would have taken me SO MUCH time.

You can build a good blog network, it does not have to be .com's, you can build it using web 2.0s. I know a few members here who do this. Of course there is going to be added risk with them being deleted. But essentially, a web 2.0 PBN would be maybe 10-20 web 2's with decent domain/path authority, created by packing loads of links towards them. I don't personally own a PBN, so I'm not the best person for advice.

Just wanna point out that private blog networks are by no means "white hat".

Is it cheaper to build web 2.0 network? If so how to build one? I looked over at some expiring domains and they are expensive.

Private blog networks are a good investment for blackhat SEO. However it does require start up cash to get started properly and not
leave footprints for Google to ban your whole network. Starting out I would not go straight into PBN.

How are you monetizing your site? Like are you selling a product or trying to get ad money or what?
what is everyones obsession with backlinks. Now yeah if your doing some blackhat stuff its a good way to your spend your time. But if your whitehating it, just focus on content and design man :) do some local/ offline marketing + social, your good

You can don that, but the question is, will your blog network give your main site any value of links. As far as I see if you saying you don't have capital that mean you will build poor quality network that doesn't have any backlinks so simply worthless.
