So I got into electronic music around 2006 and in 2009 I attended Ultra Music Festival and have been in the scene ever since. I had some medical problems recently and am stuck out of school for the semester which is miserable 24 years old and 15 credits togo. I have nothing but free time so I created an edm blog for news, info and more importantly music. Fans are constantly debating and searching ?mainstream edm? so boom I created [ (URL) www MainstreamEDM . com ]. It's less then a month old and I have a few pages/accounts popping up on the first page of results in google. I took classes in programing and html in highschool, so I'm alright at the basics. I've put my focus into learning SEO, have attempted alot of onpage optimizing and created many other social accounts to help. It's about 4 days till the one month mark and have hit about 5000 views. I have a background in nightlife event promotions along with a few connections to people that work in bigger event venues in Florida that Book large EDM artists. I'm trying trying to gain enough exposure and authority to where I can start getting invited to shows/ festivals to cover them, eventually leading me to turn my marketing services into a real business. There's a few heavy hitters when it comes to edm music blogs but I believe I found my way in through the branding of mainstream edm. I'm here to learn, any input I am given is truthfully appreciated. My goals, increase traffic, improve seo, gain authority/page rank, Find Real Links I'm not asking for specific directions(though they would be appreciated) If you have any ideas please point me in the right direction. This site is an amazing resource filled with some really innovative and intelligent people, I'm not trying to be selfish and just ask for help myself. I plan on spending alot of time on this site learning but also teaching and helping newer people with whatever I can. Music is my passion and this is my dream even if I'm not able to take my site to the next level I plan on continuing it for as long as possible, I love exposing people to new music for them to enjoy.
