Newbie Advice on How to Get the Most Out of BHW

I am no authority, as I'm a newbie myself, but what I've learned here at BHW is that there are endless amounts of legit methods to make money. I have too many methods in my bookmarks to even look at right now and I'm sure there are buried threads with even more gems.

This place is a goldmine-- there are step by step guides to making money... BUT let me tell you right now.. these will only get you so far. You have to learn to look beyond the surface of the technique-- look for what it does.

Ask yourself how these methods came about and you will find that they are all here because of creativity--imagination--motivation--perseverance.

My point is... use the methods, but if you really want to make money, you have to take it a step further and see how you can improvise, refresh, and tweak these methods.

What do I mean? Well there are numerous examples. wazzzup's recent post may be the most simple example. He saw that the cam e-whoring game was saturated so he figured out a way to still manipulate sexual desire and turn it into cash by using something that men wouldn't question-- a simple chat site.

Take AC for example, as well. The original post shaqsquash deals with rewriting articles yourself. Think about what the technique is doing.. how can you improve it. Consider it's inefficiency. In this case, you can only write so many a day and it consumes a lot of time. How do you fix that? Get someone else to rewrite for you. Hire someone to submit the articles for you! Ta-da, you now have a scalable money-raking method. Write an e-book! Maybe AC then starts requiring SSN# on registration. Consider how you could apply this model elsewhere. Are there any other sites with the same business model?

You have to be on the lookout for opportunities. Be fluid! Be a prankster! To design a prank, you have to study how the mind works, how it reacts-- observe the patterns.

Think about how people work. Let me think of an example.....

OK the easiest thing to consider is strong emotions. People want to express themselves, especially when they feel strongly. What if you put a poll in someone's face that says 'Do you agree with the right for a hate group like the KKK to assemble peacefully?' 'Yes or No' 'View results!'

A huge percentage of people, (I think. This is a hypothesis.) will react and click. How can you make money from that? Use a CPA ... a zip submit for example. Just tell them it's for geographic statistics for the poll. But know that these techniques are experimental! You have to tweak it! You have to think critically about your ad!



Now, keep in mind this is still small money. Once you start reading more and more, you will start noticing that a lot of these techniques are right in front of your eyes in the street outside. Start paying attention to advertising techniques-- there is a lot to be learned just from being outside (it's really too bad we are bombarded with ads all the time, I hate it, actually I believe Portugal.. or maybe Brasil has a no billboard law!)..

Just the other day I saw someone handing flyers out for a well known dept. store. I was surprised to see that such a popular name had 'outsourced' (I don't think that's proper usage, but it helps to compare the method to techniques here at BHW) someone to 'spam' street 'traffic' with a sales flyer.

It's the same damn thing!

I'm still taking baby steps in the realm of IM but I have confidence in myself, and in you, that if you learn to look past these methods here, you can make much much more money.

Yes. We can't simply read the technique and start making money by following the exact procedure. As I always said, things that are easy to do tend to get saturated very quickly. So your persistence and creativity are very important in determining your success.

People will come here and they will get information overload. They'll get too caught up on trying to peice everything together at once instead of slowly building everything.

best advice i can give is to simply take a method, dedicate a month to it and try it. If it doesn't work and you lose your investment (say $100), so what? you'd of spent it on beer or something anyway. Move on and try something else.

I 100% gaurantee you'll find something to make you money!

Great post, I have been reading a lot lately in this forum. There is so much information available here. I'm hoping to start earning some money soon, although I don't really know what to do. The site I already have, well, it sucks to say the least (well the niche sucks), and isn't making me any/much money.

Yea, like what others said before me, don't try to do too many things at once. Make something work first and when you finally got it down, move onto the next method/technique/whatever.

Like what jammie said, there's too many methods here and we tend to want to try them all but it's best to stick with what you do best. Hope that helped.

Exactly. There are many people out there reading all sort of methods but never try a single of them. At the end they got information overloaded and frustrated.
