    Hey Blackhats,

I'm a "newb" on making money online.

Since 2006 i owned a warez site with 100k (toptimes) users a day and sold this site in 2008. Just earned 1000-1200$ [2000$ - 800$ for security & servers] a month, so not rly much..

Since there I don't make money in the web..

Now I'm looking for an simple method to get some extra cash (100-200$ a month), no big bucks.

    My Knowledge:

    • Webdesign (I'm good in html & css ... minimal js/php,mysql)
    • Graphicdesign (I think I'm not bad in this area.. :))
    • ..overall I've a good understanding on the web
    • I'm learning fast..

What you think is a good niche for me to make some bucks?

create 50 simple logo-templates, in order to be able to create a "custom logo" in 3 minutes and pimp 1 logo per day on this fiverr-thing for $5 (netting you $4 or something).

Create a site/blog in the dating/cams niche, seo the hell out of it and monetize it with free email submits (datinggold). I know it can be done because i am doing it myself. But it takes some time (and even luck) to find the right keyphrase and get it "up there".

Work to your strengths. Why learn something new when you already have valuable skills.

Easiest way would probably be setting up a service thread here and offer graphic/logo design - 200 bucks a month would be easy.

decker: you mean blogs to promote sites such PA, AFF, LJasmin etc?

meathead1234: I like to learn new things and looking for challenges and love to experiment.. :)

So if all else fails I can go back to the skills I already have..

    CL=craigslist
If somehow you aren't familiar with craigslist, they do have a site for Germany. There's a whole subforum on bhw devoted to marketing on CL, so you can browse threads there to learn whatever you need.

About the rest of your reply...

I agree with you. If you set somethign up to sell your graphicdesign service then then basically your still an hourly employee. All you've really done is replaced working for someone else with working for yourself. In aq lot of ways thats better, but working for yourself can also mean more work. In the end though you'll still just be working for payment, and with a service your very limited at how much you can produce.

Here's a little bit of wisdom to remember:
It's much better to work at generating a residual income,
rather than working to recieve a payment.

That's really what draws everyone to IM. It's possible online to create an autopilot income generator, where your only work is feeding it traffic. Of course what the 'gurus' don't tell you is that generating traffic isn't always that easy. But once you learn how to do it, your income potential really can become limitless.

But unless you already have a steady stream of income, it wouldn't be a bad idea to market your services at the same time while your working to build an IM business.

For one thing a lot of what you need to do for IM, can be accomplished much faster if you can outsource and/or buy needed software. If you don't have enough money then getting things started is a lot harder and will take a lot longer because you'll have to do everything yourself, and probably have to do a lot of it manually at the start. The good thing is you'll learn it better that way, the bad thing is it will take longer.

    edit -
Not a bad quote I made up, I just had to highlight it. That's an original "quote from GreyWolf" right there. LOL

...But let us think I made some bucks with design and i'll start anything on IM.. what would you prefer to me, wich tools do i need and how big should be my min. captial?

Well based on the fact you're already experienced at it, and will become more experienced as you do more contract jobs, I'd say you should build websites for yourself and market affiliate products or push cpa offers.

You already know how to design websites, so you should concentrate on learning niche research, SEO and site promotions. The software you'll need to buy (or come up with somehow) will be mainly for those two needs. I think that would be the best way to work from your strengths as you get started.

Plus everything you learn while building websites for other people will just help you learn more for building your own websites. And everything you learn building and marketing your own websites will help you learn more to use in you website design service.

    So much? That awsm!

I send you a msg, so we can talk..

If there is a way to make so much bucks with design only, maybe I don't need any other IM ways.. And I think if we can work together I'll learn a few about IM--
