I want to move to Americana and live in either New York or Los Angeles (or else where in California. Any thoughts?

I never been to NY, but personally I hate LA. Try Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Orange County, or San Diego.

Coming from New Zealand. Ive been to NYC before and loved it.

Depends on what you will be doing there. But if you loved New York you may want to go there, especially if you like the hustle and bustle of the city life. LA is a bit more stuck up but you do get the nicer weather and beaches..

was born in NYC ..manhattan is a great place to live . i use to live right next to central park .. like not even 30 seconds away .

New York. Without a doubt.

Although, I am considering living in CA for a couple years.

Man, California, all the way. The bud is amazing. :)

MANHATTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol it is a great place to live. Things going on every day, all different type of people, but it is expensive.

Definitely Los Angeles. You don't have to worry about it getting too cold and depending on where you decide to live, it can be really quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything.

And it's a lot better if you don't like walking everywhere.

NYC all day everyday, lived here my whole life, best place in the world

california is way cheaper then NY, but id rather live in NY

NYC is more fast paced. Los Angeles is more layed back.
Weather is better in LA. Both expensive to live in. Don't try and drive in the new york city. LA, you can drive.

I have been to both but being that I grew up in Jersey and have been NY too many times, I would still stick with the east coast.

I'm a native Californian of course I say L.A. good luck with your move perhaps you should spend some time in both places before completely uprooting (just a thought)
