Is it better to keep creating new web 2.0 properties or would it be better to add more content to existing ones?

    so for example.

    100 web 2.0s with 1 x 750 word article

    or

    10 web 2.0 with 10 x 750 word articles.

    or somewhere in between

I would do somewhere in the middle.

30 Web 2.0 with 3 or 4 articles each. That makes it more "human," if you get what I mean.

A human being who is creating a site on Web 2.0 services are likely to go back and update their site, at least for some time.

But I would also try to spread my risk. When you have 4 deleted from 10, you have 40 articles deleted.

If any are deleted then surely I can use the articles again as long as I have them saved.

If they have been deleted then is there a duplicate content issue?

As soon as they get de-indexed by google you can re-use them.

I have read that updating the web 2.0 is highly powerful. I think it's really a waste when you build a shit load of links to a blogger or wordpress post then let it go like that. If we check the PR of the tons of web 2.0 we built in the past i am sure we will find some got a PR2 - 3. I think i will start doing it too.

Has this even happen before, an entire wordpress.com, blogspot, etc subdoman domain getting de-indexed?

Why not just make the web 2.0 has thin as possible without making it look like spam (so that web 2.0 admins wont delete them) and then just do your seo on it. I would just do 2 or 3 small articles.

Duplicate content doesn't negatively affect you unless it's being used on the same site. For example: 10 pages on your site with different titles and page names, but using the same content on each page.
