When you create new subdomain it has no value. It's like a new domain, however as it has no whois records some data can be passed from main domain, like domain age. In this case you need any aged domain, no point to waste money on high PR domains.

    I can recommend http://www.registercompass.com

I did, but I didn't buy domains with high PR, it's too expensive. Instead I was looking for domains with links/keywords I want to rank. I redirect domains using registrars dns settings and I don't understand why ppl use cpanel redirects.

You right. Creating page with content and then redirect it is absolutely ridiculous.

URL shortner can not pass the weight of the link. It's just like replacing the URL in your browser's address bar and I know that many shortners work this way, simple redirect.

If youve used this method can you layout how exactly youve done it with success? And how long the success lasted?

50-100 aged domains, with 3 subs per aged domain?
Redirect from Godaddy or whatever registrar, instead of setting up a site and redirecting from cpanel?
Blast the redirects with niche related keyword anchor text links from a variety of sources?
    Web 2s,blog posts,blog comments,article directories,profiles, etc?
Should any links go to the money site, or just keep them all going to the redirects?
How long before you see results?

I heard that Godaddy will not hesitate a moment to suspend all your domains if your domains reported spam. And they don't let you transfer out your reported domains unless you pay almost $100 per domain for your TOS violation.
So it is really good idea to have so many domains in Godaddy and spam with these domains? Remember domains from Godaddy Auction not allow to transfer out within 2months.

I have one thing to say.... HOLY SHIT!
I just 301'd around 30 PR2 sites and spammed them with links, and a day later I'm #1 for a 100k exact local per month keyword. What. The. Fuck. Also #8 for a 200k exact local per month keyword.

Google, get your shit together. (After I make my millions, of course ;))

Did you 301 them from their registrar or from cpanel hosting and were they on separate ip's

Just did the redirects from the GoDaddy control panel, didn't bother with hosting.

Wow that is crazy, what kind of spam links did you send at the redirects and was the target site a fresh domain or established domain with PR?

Just trying to get everything in place to roll it out asap

has anyone tested this yet in lower competition niches? Chances are the results would stick for a longer period of time. Think I'll give it a try! I did notice two of my "spam lab" sites (sites I test various linkspam tactics against) were decreased quite a bit this evening. Yet others were not. It looks like the new webspam updates addressed blog comment spam and trackback spam pretty well. at least for me. wonder how long before this redirect hole is patched by Google.

    I told you it'd work...

just be smart, and there's a crapload to choose from
I think the effects would be similar with any domain though, even without PR, but maybe not.

The PR is shed from the redirect within 24 hours.

I should get free JR Vip status for exposing this without seeking any reward :)

When I talked about using 301 redirects, many people laughed at me.

But the joke is on them because I am still ranking ;)

    It's been working for months.

People just thought it was "too easy", so they never did it.

I have not seen this method work before February... period.

The only instance I know of it worked for someone before that he had a huuuuuuge redirection network with 10s of thousands of mthly links to hundreds of redirects. He was still outranked by authority sites though... not anymore!

Too busy damaging controlling at the moment... I have a lot of work to do that doesn't involve this method on the immediate horizon.
