Hey guys, I’m pretty new to X and I have a question.

I made a new account and I’ve been posting with hashtags to drive some traffic to my website, but my posts are only getting around 1–2 views.

I had another account before that got banned, and on that account my posts would usually get around 3–5k views within 24 hours.

Does anyone know why the reach on my new account is so low? The account is about 2 weeks old. During those two weeks, I’ve been using it normally scrolling, commenting, and interacting with other posts.

It's a new account, it's not gonna perform as well as an established account that already had a following. Though to be fair, 2 views is really low. Best check the content itself, how heavily you're relying on hashtags/links, and whether the posts are actually being distributed at all.
The fact that the previous account was banned could also be relevant, but usually only if you're pretty much just repeating the same posting setup and patterns but it's hard to say without knowing more about the account or the reason for the old acc's ban.

posting external links right out of the gate flags new accounts as spam nodes. stop tweeting links, get Premium to clear the initial low-trust filter, and focus on replying under high-traffic posts in your niche to rebuild impression health

1-2 views means your posts aren't even indexable in search. if your previous account got banned and you created this new one on the same browser/IP without clearing cookies or changing digital fingerprints, X linked the two accounts instantly and put a ghostban on the new one.

New accounts can be painfully slow now. I’d focus on actual conversations in your niche rather than trying to push traffic immediately.

A new account usually has limited reach at first, especially after a previous account ban. Keep posting consistently engage with others and give it some time before expecting the same reach as an older account.

i think you have to notice the things like which you do on your previous x account to get reach and apply them to the new ones maybe that works if the niche is same

if your previous account got flagged twitter/X may be flagging similar behavior patterns or content. 2 weeks in might just be your account getting it’s reach limited and could still pick up traction.

It is normal for a new account to get fewer views than an established one with an existing follower base, but getting only one or two views is excessive. Did you reuse information from an old account to set up the new one? That seems to be the cause.
