new to seo!

im a computer student science student and new to this whole seo thing and this summer i wanna make a site which gets ALOT traffic.

ive been reading alot now on that fine forum here, sweet techniques and stuff!

now i was wondering what the best way to alot traffic in a short time?

would be really nice if you can help me out here!
