I'm currently in the process of creating a website. I have a few questions if anyone would be so kind to address.

    1. How important is getting high pr backlinks to begin with? Can I just start blasting my list of 3k links or will it harm my site indexing?

    2. How important are meta tags?

    3. Is scrapebox worth the investment and are there any helpful guides around to teach me how to use it?

    1) Don't blast your new site with 3k links straight away. Start with somewhat low number and increase it on daily basis and also if you can get High PR links, it may boost your site in SERP instantly (of course, depends on competition:p).

    2) They are not that important but use them.

    3) Yes and you can get many tutorials right in this site. (just use search button)

    1. I used to blast my sites with thousands of links, but never got good results from it. Nowadays I go by a different theory, which I learned from a guru (and makes sense): Google knows how many unique visitors your site is getting. If you have a new site with very low traffic, 3,000 sudden backlinks is going to look VERY unnatural. Google probably won't penalize you, but they will ignore the links.

    2. Metatags are not nearly as important as they used to be, but you still need to do them properly.

    3. SB is a great tool and it's a bargain for what they are charging. It could go for much more.

    1. Don´t blast right away. Maybe do it slowly with some auto approved blogs list. You can also make some web 2.0 properties like Squidoo, Blogspot, and point and make a link in those sites to your main site with your keyword. You can blast the hell of those and it will pass to your site. It depends in the case and competition, I still hadn´t blast a main site with scrapebox, just my 2.0 properties. But will do it soon with only auto approved blogs to avoid being banned or reported as spam.

    2. Onsite SEO is really important, focus on optimizing this first, I don´t meta tags are that important. But title of the page, the url, keywords and keywords in content is really important.

    3. I´m new to scrapebox but I have to say is a great software, and it´s cheap so you can start with that and then buy some other stuff.
