I would first of all like to say hi to you all since this is my first post (of many I hope).

SEO seems to be more and more popular so I decided that it would be fun to try to rank a few sites and lean.

Yesterday I stumbled upon a EMD keyword that has over 100'000 Global exact matches, low competition and around 1.6USD CPC...

I got excited over the (according) to me high exact match numbers so I deiced to buy it..

Even though the competition was low, it seems like it may be VERY hard to get this to first page on google since it's populated with links from well known companies.

What would you advise me to do?
Should I try to rank this as much as possible and get some revenue from ads etc or should I try to flip it as fast as possible?

I have not been using ads neither have I flipped sites before, so I would like to get your advise.

    Thank you!

    1) Are you sure its Exact and not Broad Searches?

    2) Is it a Trademark?

    3) When you say low competition, is that what you saw in the Google Keyword Tool?

    4) Is this a product keyword or an information based keyword?

If you don't know what to do search on this forum, and you'll know what to do, or sell it just as a domain name on flippa.

Low Competition at google keyword tool doesnt mean that the SEO competition is low, mean that the ad competition is low, there is few people interested into that keyword to place ads.

To know if your keyword really have low competition you need to use some software or go to the result page and see for yourself.

Go to http://www.serpiq.com and test your keyword.

Oh and low competition on the keyword tool usually means useless keyword for adsense, you need to see if you can monetize this with other kind of stuff.
