Hi guys.. I'm quite new to promoting affiliates, but I have a rough outline of an idea that I was hoping to polish off and put into action. I've a few questions that I hope you could give me some pointers to?

Just now I'm promoting AdultFriendFinder through a blogspot blog, and achieving moderate success. My only problem is that the affiliate links from my blog go to an AFF general landing page. This won't convert too well due to me being unable to say "Here's my AFF profile.." on the blog. I'm looking to buy a dedicated domain to host my blog, and before I do, I'd like to iron this problem out. Can someone give me a hint or pointer?

Also, my affiliate links look UGLY! You know the sort, ref=?1231231 etc. I could convert that to a tinyurl I guess, but there has to be a better way I'm sure.

Basically, getting traffic to my blog is my strong point, and now that I'm looking to up the pace, I'd like to iron out these wrinkles before committing time and money.

Any pointers or advice would be most appreciated! :)

So say I purchase CuteGirlBlog.com and redirect it to AFF. Surely people see that as a bit transparent? I was hoping to host a blog on the domain, not use it as a redirect.

I guess I could host a blog on cutegirlblog.com, and post my link to AFF as cutegirlblog.com/redirect (obviously changing names/domains, etc.. this is just examples).

The thing is though, I'll never be able to post on my blog "Check out my AFF profile <link>". I'll only be able to post "Check out AFF <link>". Is that right?

Actually.. as I'm typing this, I'm getting ideas! Thanks! :)
