So I've been having some struggles with starting FB but after some research I've come up with a plan. I'm still new to FB so any input on this method would be much appreciated and where to improve

For reference, my business is in person teaching for clients. The goal is to get more clients for this service.

    1. Create FB page

    2. Run FB ads campaign purely for page likes for as cheap as possible. (i.e. targeting tier 3 countries that are cheaper than US) This is only for social proof for customers (i.e. FB page with 100k likes looks more trustworthy than one with 100 likes) I dont expect these people doing likes to be engaged with my page in the future since this method seems to get unengaged people (?).

    3. Next, I will run an ad in my location (US) that is somewhat broad to cast a widenet. This ad campaign will be an instructional video in my niche but will not contain any 'sale'. Just a piece of free content to establish trust and convince user to watch more videos on my website linked in ad. because FB users are there to 'socialize', not buy the idea with these video ads is to spark interest and learn about the topic

    4. Using FB pixel, I will then create a retargeted ad that is shown only to custom audience who visited my website to watch my free content earlier. This ad WILL be the 'sale' ad where I try to convince them to buy my service. At this point they have already visited my website, are in my location, and shown interest, thus the most likely buyers.

----- I don't plan to post daily content on this FB page. I only intend to post Ads to ultimately attract visitors to my website for sales. Despite running a campaign for page likes with unengaged people who dont interact w/ content, because all my posts will be Ads that I run campaigns for they will still have reach that is "expected" of a page its size. (i.e. FB page with 100k likes getting 50k+ views on video posts which seems valid/realistic)

This leaves the issue of a lack of community for customers since I dont post regular content, just Ads. This is where I need help.

Because FB limits organic reach so greatly I dont even think it makes sense to put effort/time to build a base that wont see my content without paying. Correct me if I'm wrong

This leaves me to direct my customers to my instagram since the organic reach is not as restricted (... for now). Thus the idea is FB = Sales/New Customers, IG = Community and Interaction with customers.

However, the issue is a decent portion of my customers are 35+ and often arent even on instagram I can assume. So this leaves me with an issue of which I am not sure the solution. Any ideas? Should I actually attempt to establish communities on both FB and IG? (That seems to require extra effort to post daily content to both platforms) Should I not care and just be like 'Fk the old people if theyre not on IG'?

Well thats it, my basic plan. I would appreciate any help I can get. I realize this will take some trial and error but I want to waste as little $$$ as possible along the way. New to FB so any help would really be appreciated, thanks

How much are you planning to spend to reach 100k likes with tier 3 audiences?
