New to ebay!!

i currently have 37 feedback rating, and my items appear after the 5th page in the search results on ebay. how can i get better rankings on ebay? does being a powerseller/top rated affect any of this? if so, how can i get to that status? im currently selling cars on ebay, would i need to sell a cheaper $5-20 dllr. item so more customer would buy, and would that increase my ebay status?
