Hey guys, I'm sort of new to Internet Marketing and CPA and all this stuff. I've read some guides and I know the concept of it but it seems difficult to start it than it is reading it. I have a couple of questions about CPA if you guys don't mind answering to help me get started. Thanks a lot =]

    1) How long did it take you to learn the concept and actually getting started on it?

    2) How much time do you put in a day or a week?

    3) Have you ever lost money when you invested in a product? If so how much?

    4) When starting off as a newbie, is it better to work with a partner on this?

    5) When you were a newbie, how much money did you spend on getting started?

    6) I'm interested in learning about CPA from someone and wouldn't mind getting paid at a low rate, do you know where I could look for to find a partner that would be interested in getting help at a low cost?

    7) I read a guide on making money on YouTube and one of the sentence was this.
"I monetize the traffic that I get from Youtube by sending them to CPA offers. If you don't know what a CPA offer is, well its basically like an affiliate network where they pay you every time a visitor you refer fills out a form."
I'm sort of confused, isn't CPA offers is when you send them to a landing page and they buy the product, then you get commission? In this sentence he talks about sending them to a CPA offer where they pay you every time someone fills out a form, am I thinking of a different thing here?

You don't have to answer everyone of your sentence if it is too much of your time. Any advice on these questions will help me a lot.

Questions 1-5 are very individual, it seems to me like you are looking for some specific answers which don't really matter.

6 - read the CPA section, mostly you need to learn from your mistakes
7 - CPA stands for cost per action. It doest have to be a sale. In this case it was probably some lead gen offer - you get paid when somebody fills out a form. Look at some leadgen offers from your network and you will understand.

Thank you for the reply Orbit, I'm still a bit confused on lead gen offers. I tried looking for it on ClickBank but I can't find it. Am I looking at the right place? Where would I go to find available lead gen offers?

Clickbank is a place where you can sell stuff.... you need to join a specific CPA network such as leadbolt, CPAWAY, *******, etc.

Clickbank is not typical CPA, they only have sale commision products. (someone please correct me if i'm wrong)

Check out sticky thread in CPA section, tons of usefull infos there.

Are there any CPA companies that you listed require no phone call? Since I have no internet marketing experience I'm not sure what to say when they ask me...

Ah thanks, I just checked LeadBolt, during the registration it requires a website..what if you are advertising a product, not promoting or selling it? why do they make you put a website in?

I'm trying to remember but I think leadbolt is like a content locker (a popup that makes the user complete a CPA offer to view your content) - thus you have to have content which means you need a website.
