I want to know if there are any CPA's that occur simply by someone opening a page. I'm thinking of using the traffic exchange I belong to and am wondering if this would work. Thanks in advance.
No CPA company is going to pay you simply for a visit. You could profit from selling ad space on your site, but you will probably not get any serious advertisers if you are using a traffic exchange(of course it depends what kind of exchange it is) Look at companies that pay per click also. i wrote some nice javascript recently that takes advantage of PPC by enabling bulk traffic to register to the network as regular clicks/visits. I dont ever really do PPC (cpa owns) but this method is working out nicely. I buy traffic at about $12 for 10,000 visits. u do the math
kenshin can you please give more info. i am interested because i am doing a test trying to improve my alexa rankings in one site in order to improve profits.
i dont know much about alexa rankings and how that works but this is basically to turn bulk traffic into click profit. ill give you a little bit more insight into the method. if you want more you will have to talk to me privately. basically when you're doing ppc, the ppc network has software to detect if your traffic is legit or not. this is determined by several different points. if you were to just buy up a whole bunch of bulk web traffic and send it to your ppc offers it would more than likely be caught as trash traffic... but! through the power of scripting it is possible for dirty traffic to take a shower and become squeaky clean! (and i dont mean stripping referrer data though i did make a post about that a bit ago in some other thread and is an interesting topic).
Well, I think I've found what I was looking for. NetAu*dioA*ds is in beta at the moment, but they play 5 second ads on your site whenever anyone goes to a page that has the code on it, so it works like Ads*ense, but no clicks needed. I've got it set up on a test page that I am already directing traffic to from Traf*fic Sw*arm, so I'll have to wait and see as they are uploading some more code that will be ready on Monday. I'll know then what kind of hits I'm getting for the ads. I already know what kind of traffic I get from TS and from my host's stats, which turn out to be a damn site more accurate than Goo*gles for some reason. kenshin, that sounds like a cool trick. No worries about being spotted and getting "slapped"? If not, then I'd like to check out this code as well. Seeing as how I'm a hardware guy and definitely not a code boy, any help in that direction is greatly appreciated.
can i have different ad companies in the same webpage like adbrite and google ? also kenshin i have already send you a pm thanks
