Hi Guyz, I need serious suggestions. I am complete newbie to affiliate marketing. I decided to do this using search engine advertising. I have 2 questions, for every one who are in affiliate marketing business. 1) Which search engine should I start with? 2) How much should I spend for one month? (I earn 200$ to 300$/month) I heard some people say that you should start advertising with yahoo first, some people say that you should advertise with google adwords first. Please answer my questions like, what you did when you started affiliate marketing.
Either search engine will be ok for you to start with. I started with yahoo because of the $100 in free clicks and I have had good success with them. The amount you spend depends on your budget. Hmm.. Go with the big ones but do not stop with ppc.. learn seo and a few black hat techniques to help you in the long run
With all due respect, I believe PPC may not be the wisest choice for a complete newbie at affiliate marketing. It is risky and competition is fierce, particularly if you still don't know what you're doing all that well. In any case, if you're determined to start with this, I'd go with ********'s suggestion and invest your first dollars on education. I believe that would be yor best investment. The best of luck to you. PS: Don't be afraid to try and get free traffic. It's easier than it looks.
