New to affiliate marketing and need some assistance

I have found a product I would like to promote and did so on CL and twitter. No sales yet. Though I did get some responses to the ads. Everyone that responded seemed to want more info. All I did was refer them back to the link in the ad where I told them there was a video and information on the product. Where am I going wrong with this? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I think a good start would be to capture their name and email address. It is good to see that you are getting responses and there is a market for your product but if all you are doing is sending your prospects to a sales page, then you have lost them for good.

If you get their name & email, you will be able to send your prospects more & more info on your product unitil they buy. Most people do not buy on the first visit to a sales page.

There is a course here in the downloads section titled, "How to get your first sale in 72 hrs" or something like that that will show you how to capture people's info at no cost to you. Hope this helps.
