Newbies guide to Associated Content.

Just thought I would do a little contribution for all the people who are starting to make money from AC. Too many threads are popping up asking questions which have been answered countless times before and I know some people are getting irritated by those.

Oh well, here goes nothing.

What is Associated Content (AC)?

Associated Content is a web site that pays for submitted content. Content must be unique, never published anywhere. Associated Content pays for articles, images, audio and videos. Their URL, for the unintiated, can be found here : Associated Content

FAQ:
How and when does associated content pay? What is their average article review time?
Associated Content pays via Paypal every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Reviewing articles usually takes a week or so. From my experience, all my articles were reviewed within 7-10 days from submission.

Their website states that only people from the US can accept Upfront Payments, will I be able to receive those too if I am not a US Resident?
Yes, at least till now. Just simply sign up as a US Resident, provide some fake info and you should be good to go. After that, simply submit articles and enjoy the money.

How many articles maximum should I submit a day to one account to prevent AC from suspecting something wrong is happening?
Try to submit just 10 articles every 2 days or so and it should be fine.

What is AC's minimum payout?

None, they do mass-payment so you get paid whenever they payout, which is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For example, if you have received an offer for $1.52 for an article, you will get paid the same amount on the next payout date availiable.

Do I need to use a proxy to submit and create US AC accounts if I am not a resident there?

AC seems to be pretty relaxed about this for the moment and they do not seem to be checking IP's. I'm from Singapore and have been creating/submitting articles to AC and have been receiving all my payments on time, without using any proxies at all. If you want to be extra careful, this would be a good step to take though.

Where can I outsource article rewriting cheaply?

You can try www.getafreelancer.com . Post up a project there stating that you require article rewriters to rewrite articles for $1 apiece. You should get plenty of bids for that project then. Remember to state you need perfect english and grammar as AC seems to be very strict about that. Note that you need $5 as a deposit to post a proper project on GAF.

Other sites you can try using include www.scriptlance.com and www.elance.com .

Try not to offer too much per article or you will be making a loss as the average payment for articles are $2 - $4 depending on the quality and availability of content.

Hope this helps those who want to get into AC. Send a thanks if you like this :P If this could be stickied it would be even better.

Hell, if you're feeling kind today just sign up at my d*mn referral link : http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=380235

If you need any help feel free to post here and I'll try my best. Good luck with your venture!

Good job putting this together for people who are unfamiliar with ac I liked your post and think that you really tried to give back I been with ac for a while but never really thought about outsourcing but thanks for your post good work

Hi, Im newbie in AC. I've hired some one to rewrite my articles. but only one articles has been get upfront payment offer. 9 articles has been rejected. AC said "Content must exhibit correct grammar, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation" for all articles. give me advice

Just fix the mistakes and re-submit. No point in wasting those articles, especially if you outsourced them. To OP, great summary! I was unsure whether or not to use proxies to cover my tracks.
BTW, a good place for fake US addresses is fakenamegenerator.com
Ciao.
