I'm looking to have a sports handicapping site built.. So please understand sports betting, lines, and sports betting picks first before responding to this thread.

I'm looking to have a back end so sports handicappers can login and post free picks that all users can see for free. Also I want the sports handicappers to be able to post picks that members can also pay for with pay pal. All the picks would be tracked with standings so users can see who is hot and who is not.

Also want the backend set up so I can post my affilate banners all over with ease.

Well, you've picked a tough market right now. If/when UIGEA gets repealed, it should go gangbusters again. Depending on the sticky details of course. I have a feeling Barney Frank and his friends want to see some burdensome regulations and additional taxes added into any new gaming bill. And the administration has a lot bigger fish to fry right now, what with their attempts to nationalize everything in sight.

But more to the point, I'm not sure what you want. How long would it take to get such a site built? How much? As in how much would it cost to set such a site up?

I do have some experience in the field......
