I believe G00gle made some changes recently. New blogs seems a little harder to be indexed fast? Any ideas? It would be nice if you can share some fast index tips;).

How is it possible to tell if the changes happened so recently ago?

It normally takes less than 24 hours to be indexed a blog if your domain is already indexed in the major search engines, but you have to do on-page SEO and use a few ping services for the new blog

I usually get indexed and ranked within 4-6 hours.

What I do is run rapid indexer with SB, Than run SB on about 4-5k commented blogs. I also make sure I have at least 3 posts I dunno why it seems to work better like that. I've tried 1 and took a while than Tried 2 still took a long time but when I did 3 or more I seemed to get indexed a lot faster. Also will sometimes run bookmark wiz and usually within 4-6 hours i'm indexed and ranked.

Sometimes it may take longer but that's only happened to 3-4 sites where it took around 24 hours.

I know this may be unusual, but I have had a a dedicated server, and I can put a new site on it, and google visits within a few hours.

I built a blog last night on a domain, and this morning it was in the google results for my keyword

I don't think it's Google. Sometimes they can be done in a few hours and sometimes a day. Just add a couple of posts and ping & bookmark each one. Even sending out a tweet on Twitter with a link to each post will get the spiders climbing all over your site instantly.

I just created two new sites, one just has a sentence of content, because I just needed the url to start building links to, and it took 2 days to get indexed. I just bookmarked them in 5 social media sites, using the Word Press plugin, built 10 back links to each site, and checked in two days later, and I was good to go.

Indexing time frame should not change. Think about it, Google thrives on new content and their survival relies on bringing you the freshest content.
Google is not going to shoot themselves in the foot by making new content harder to index. This would be counter intuitive.

BTW, the latest update is Google Instant and its more about search suggestions and returining results faster and should not affect seo.

To get indexed, I have never had to do more then ping my site with one of the many services or programs out there and then a article, maybe 2.
