Anyone have any advice for running a news blog?

How do you put an article from the local paper on a blog and not get into trouble? Do you just put the entire article and any links in it on the blog?

Is there any kind of blueprint out there for this.

    Thanks for your consideration

You could copy the whole article and then cite the source at the bottom of the page.
I'm unsure as to whether you'd get in trouble for that or not, but if you wanted to follow that route then i'd contact a few newspapers and try to get their approval in writing.

Well posy the source. I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen if you always post the source of the article. Never try to make it as your "own".

Its a norm that you must give source in end.
