So I have a new site up and have a few CPA questions... First a little background on the site, without giving away my niche... It is more of an information site, so I am not trying to sell anything, it is untapped (maybe because of the small profitability) but the KW gets about 1k serches/day so I am expecting, once I hit the first page and more so the first spot, to get about 700 UV's/day... Competition is low, I launched the site 4 days ago, was indexed and was on page nine yesterday, checked it today and I'm at the top of page 6 about to be at page 5 - I am thinking I will be on page one in a week or two... The adsense, according to spyfu, gets about .10-.16 cpc and right now there is only like 1 or 2 advertisers so it really is not lucrative in those terms... so I don't think I will be putting adsense - maybe in a while... I might try it out but right now I am going to stick with a CPA banner or two on the page

    So my questions...
    1. Banner placement and size: Where have you guys and gals had success on a "micro niche" type of site? I know when you are using adsense the large rectangle right under the title gets a good click through, so I was wondering if that would be the case with a big CPA banner. Or I just didn't know if that would make a visitor just go right back to g--gle after opening my site.

I have also the option to put a large skyscraper type of banner on the left side of the screen.

    2. This is more of an SEO type of question - Do ads/adsnese/CPA banners harm your onpage SEO? I just ask becuase right now mine is stellar, but I am worried that once I throw up a CPA banner on my site I will loose some SEO power.

Would love some input if you have some opinions/expertise in this area.
