Say if I just started a new site today, and uploaded my first post. I'm just wondering.. are there any limits to how many posts I should be publishing each day, as well as links?

Like I could start publishing a few dozen posts today, and pumping out thousands of links. But do you guys think maybe I should be only posting a few articles a day? And start off only with a few backlinks for now until the website is indexed and a little bit older?

Also I was wondering how long I should wait before stepping things up a bit.

Keep everything natural. Like posting 4 or 5 articles a day. Do it daily and wait for few days to get your content indexed properly and keep sharing your site on Social media. Once fully index start linkbuilding.

Wait think how big sites works. You can post up to 10 articles daily, even more if you have more authors. You want your page succed and you work fulltime on it there is no restrictions

Thank you! I was wondering one last thing though. Once I share on Social media, and get indexed in a few days, how should I proceed with building backlinks? Like should I just start with a few a day? and gradually build up? Or just go all out? Or any suggestions on the numbers I should be using there?

Share on social media first, get some traffic, create fb page, g+, twitter... for your website. Then slowly start adding backlinks to homepage, later on inner pages too.

Natural is the key here

Act natural, Stay natural, Look natural

Don't rush your post. Try to make natural as possible. Good luck bro. :happysad:

Before you start posting, be sure that you can maintain your posting rate. You don't want a situation where you posted 4 articles the previous day but can only post 1 today.
