New site growing fast..Whats next.

Hey Guys,

I wrote about this in another post a couple months back... but a lot have changes since then.

Anyway I have a NEW url shortener site that's averaging around 110k unique visits a month. I have not made a dime off of it yet and wanted to get some ideas on how you all would make money off of this thing?

...Also hypothetically how much could I make off of 110k unique monthly visits?

I know people are using the site because it's super simple and currently doesn't have any ads on it, so I don't want to lose too many user but def want to turn some sort of profit off of this thing.

Maybe set a limit to how much links a user can shorten per day/week. And then for a small fee, maybe a few dollars, the limit is gone for a set amount of time.

I think that is the only way if you don't want to use ads.
 
Have you put adsense or other ad networks on your site yet? And like the above stated add a premium service.
 
Learn to monetize your site dude. I used to have great number of visitors on my free classifieds website without earning enough money to pay for hosting fees.

I hope I could help you with this. Maybe some members on here will help you.
 
Do what many download sites do. They have a lot of download buttons around the actual button that allows them to download a file. You just need your own twist at that point.
 
So you figured out how to create a site, and you figured out how to get decent traffic to the site, and you can't figure out how to monetize it?

If you have a simple site that gets traffic and don't want to devalue it than do it the WIMP COM way. Check out their site, one banner ad on the top, one on the right hand side. Pretty easy, tons of traffic, retained value
 
slap a non intrusive ad or just make the ads seem like they flow or are more friendly, you could always split test to a certain amount of traffic.
 
Make the stats public for anon members and for paid members private. Add some $4/month or $1/month. Get people hooked to it.
 
Bit.ly has an enterprise suite for businesses. They charge $1k/month+. For that price they offer more value to the business.

Just a word of congratulations mate, that's fantastic...getting the traffic is the difficult step and there are some great suggestions above.
 
are those real users and not used by spammers ? sometime it would be misleading ...

for the revenue, the demo would have difference on how much you can earn
