Well I have a new site about two weeks old and have around 100 or so succesfull comments posted through scrapebox and about 30-40 of them are picked up by yahoo siteexplorer, so my question is i am not yet ranking for my keyword so am i sandboxed already or will it take more time to rank?
I am not ranked at all but if i search my site i am listed with keyword.com and also if i search"keyword" in quotes i am listed down somewhere at 60-70 so what could it mean, please help, thanks.

Your site is only 2 weeks old. You need to give it at least a month, IMO. If you can find your site in google though, then you aren't sandboxed.

I would take it easy with the blog spam in the beginning for a site. Try to balance it out between blog spam, directories, and social networking sites.

My biggest advice though is just to give it time.

Your site is not sandboxed. You just have not done shit yet, that's all.

100 successful comments would not even rank you for the phrase "100 successful comments".

If I am your competitor I am submitting 1000x that on a weekly basis. So you will have to catch up.

    That's just a tip.

Hey buddy. First off, I'd recommend that you use Market Samurai's rank tracker module to keep track of your rank. It's what I use and it really shows you a clear correlation between backlinking and rank improvement or decline.

As far as your rank goes, it really depends on the competition of the keyword. You might have a front page full of aged, high PR, lots of page backlinks. Then again you could have poor on page SEO. So check these things and then keep backlinking:
-On Page SEO - make sure that you have it all down
-What anchor text are you using? Using something like {keyword|keyword review} is usually good for me personally.

Beyond that, I'm fairly confident that you're not sandboxed. A sandbox would look like this.
    1. You setup a new site
    2. You backlink it after it is indexed for a few weeks.
    3. You get a page one ranking fairly quick
    4. Maybe a month later you see your site crash into 600-900
It will bounce up and down from there and then settle somewhere in 600.

Well I hope it gets up, p.s. by 100 succesfull comments I mean 100 sites were my links are live right now, I am taking it slow and do not want to be banned.
