Yeah that'll work. It could take longer though (I'd have to ship it to my place, then ship it myself to you)

    Good idea, added cash equivalents:

$1000 for grand prize, $250 for second prize, and $150 for 3rd prize.

    bit of a problem mate?

if i sell 50 of these, i get my $65 per sale as normal, leaving you $22, ot a total of $1100

you're really gonna give me $1000 of that?

    mmm

Then again it's a good incencitive to get things rolling...

50 sales would equal higher clickbank gravity and thus more affiliates, so he'd be doing it just for the publicity.

Precisely. I need to get things rolling with this one. Hopefully when you make 50 sales you'll continue to make sales beyond that. So why not?

I like your thinking! I never really though of it that way. The first thing I thought was the same as everyone else (is he really prepared to give away all that money as bonuses). But if the goal is to get the ball rolling on this project then that is perfect.

    Good luck with your launch!

Trust me guys, there is more than one way to monetize a Clickbank site.

Someone making 50 sales in a day actually won't help gravity any more than someone making 1 sale a day. Unless I'm mistaken, gravity is measured by the number of different affiliates that make at least one sale.

Think about things like OTOs, email leads, coaching, etc. ...

... all additional ways to monetize a Clickbank site aside from the front end profits.

Thanks, all those are in the works already. This is just an additional incentive ;)

Totally. I was just saying that it's not THAT unrealistic to give away almost all of the front end as incentive to get affiliates to promote, as the it can increase the number of affiliates, and make you more money overall with the monetization of the back end.

The more affiliates that promote an offer the more affiliates will promote it. It works like a snowball, once it rolls the bigger it gets by itself.

As for gravity, yeah you need different affiliates. But usually when you search the clickbank marketplace offers are ordered after popularity, and having 1 affiliate that makes over 50 sales will increase the popularity of a program.

wow...you practically dont plan to make any money of the 50 sales. I could buy 50 myself for almost free and sell them out later.

I am good at math not IM :)

Right, but it has to get to a certain point to where people will actually notice it enough to promote it.

Right. Just seems like "gravity" is the hot button these days, even though the default listing seems to be popularity.

Incorrect. He's willing to GIVE UP what he was going to make on the FRONT END of those sales in order to earn on the BACK end of them.

Anyone who has ever worked as a "vendor" (I think they're called "advertisers") on a CPA network knows that it's possible to offer an average of more than 100% on the front end, because you can make a lot on the back end if you market properly.

So is anyone actually going to promote this? I've been looking at my number of affiliates, it hasn't increased a lot :(

I may, eventually. However, something needs done about this graphic:

All the discs have the default "lorem ipsum" as their headers. It makes it look cheap, as it's an obvious oversight.

Also, I'm not NUTS about zero exit pops ... even one that doesn't change the price would be better.

I typically do between 15 and 25 sales per promo, so I may give this a go sometime next week.
