New .org domains hard to rank?

    Hi everyone,

    I have two recent wordpress sites in an .org domain and i see that it's very hard to rank in google just with original content. I have other .net domains that ranks in first page with just some weeks and 10-15 posts.

    Anyone experienced the same issue?

    This is true, it is hard to rank .org domains. SearchMetrics have reported that if you start with .org domain, you will start losing 1:0 - unless you are a real organisation or charity, something like that. But I still think it is arguable since SearchMetrics can fail sometimes and I am a SEO beginner.

    When this was reported? I'm experienced some issues with .org domains.

    Damn, I have been too. I haven't been slapped, but have had a much harder time ranking relative to my other sites and I'm good at KW research. Interesting.

    .org is not an issue. i have ranked many, they are still ranking better. what about the strategy of your keywords ?

    I have one .org domain and it is ranking well ... may be because it has very less competition and it has a decent page rank of 2 now . No any works done with backlinking though :)

    How old are your domain?

    But did you tried to rank any fresh .org in last months?

    I searched on google but i couldn't find it. Can you share the direct link?

    You can go to SearchMetrics' site and submit your details. Then you can download.
    I don't have the direct link because I have downloaded it a while ago and deleted it a week ago - sorry.

    My .org and .net domains do not rank as well as the .coms

    I don't have enough evidence to say that this is always the case though
