    Hi everyone,

I have two recent wordpress sites in an .org domain and i see that it's very hard to rank in google just with original content. I have other .net domains that ranks in first page with just some weeks and 10-15 posts.

    Anyone experienced the same issue?

    Thanks in advance!

This is true, it is hard to rank .org domains. SearchMetrics have reported that if you start with .org domain, you will start losing 1:0 - unless you are a real organisation or charity, something like that. But I still think it is arguable since SearchMetrics can fail sometimes and I am a SEO beginner.

Damn, I have been too. I haven't been slapped, but have had a much harder time ranking relative to my other sites and I'm good at KW research. Interesting.

I have one .org domain and it is ranking well ... may be because it has very less competition and it has a decent page rank of 2 now . No any works done with backlinking though :)

Search "SearchMetrics 2013 SEO Report" and you will find further information about what I say.

    How old are your domain?

But did you tried to rank any fresh .org in last months?

I searched on google but i couldn't find it. Can you share the direct link?

You can go to SearchMetrics' site and submit your details. Then you can download.
I don't have the direct link because I have downloaded it a while ago and deleted it a week ago - sorry.

My .org and .net domains do not rank as well as the .coms

I don't have enough evidence to say that this is always the case though
