Hey BHW, this is probably my first post asking for help but I figured that I should just man up and ask, so here goes! (If this is in the wrong section please tell me/move it or delete it.)

I have just started a new niche website based on a keyword that has a VERY low competition but I have reason to believe that nearing the middle of the year this search term will EXPLODE!

First of all, my keyword is included in all of the fundamental on-page SEO, as well as having domain name, title and description all with the keyword. I have absolutely no backlinks and I'm sitting around page 4 (around 42 last time I checked). Also, the domain is probably a couple of weeks old.

My question to the geniuses on BHW. What methods or tools should I be using (as an absolute noob) to get Web 2.0 backlinks or to basically increase my rank in google.

I should also point out, the competition on the front page is a joke, the top PR of the front page is a 1. I just need some basic methods to improve it!

Thanks for taking the time to read my thread!

You can create the Web2.0s yourself or get someone to do it for. Theres gigs on fiverr for 15+ Web2.0s and a list on here of something like 79 all with PR.

I'd probably set up 5 high PR ones with some nice articles and maybe get a few SB blasts on the Web2.0s

Theres a few threads on here with links to open edu wikis as well so sign up for a few of those and link away.
