There are many members who earn handsome recurring income from T shirt designing on Merch by Amazon platform, and also those who are struggling to get pass 25 designs tire. Here is the latest Policy change that I think affect All of us. Today I received a letter from Merch By Amazon.

Dear Content Creator,

We're updating the Merch by Amazon publishing policy to allow your customers to find the highest quality designs on Amazon.

Beginning November 15, 2016, Merch by Amazon will keep live for sale only those t-shirt designs that have received at least one unreturned order within the first 60 days of being published. All other designs will be removed, allowing you to publish new designs that have a greater chance of selling. Removed designs are no longer available for sale, won't appear in search results, and won't occupy a spot in your tier.

To successfully promote your t-shirts, please consider these ideas and best practices when reviewing your current portfolio. For more information on this policy change, please visit the Merch by Amazon FAQ.

Thanks for being a Content Creator,
Merch by Amazon

The news may be Good or Bad. Let's hear the reaction.

This will force merchants to prune their offers and eliminate non-selling items. Rare and hard selling shirts will be gone. It's like Panda but for merchandise. I don't like it.

Let's see the positive side of it. At present It is not feasible to go for the new design in very popular niches. As there are thousands of designs already populated, so even if you have awesome design for that niche then also your design won't be shown on the first page of amazon search. But with this new Policy update you may get a chance.

Yea shirts that don't receive any sales within the first 60 days. If it did then it stays forever, no matter if it goes another 100 days without any sales.
That's what I got out the email. Correct me if Im wrong.

Yes I also think so. Which also means that you keep the minimum price and buy your own shirt, if you want to keep your design (LOL)
