So I usually sell mobile websites to small businesses. I walked up to some guys parked in a car with a locksmith logo and asked them about a mobile website and the guy said he didn't have one. Long story short they liked the mobile website work and want to hire me on to make them a mobile + static site for 2 businesses. Locksmith and Dryer Vent Cleaning.

We agreed to terms but the condition is I get paid when they get the first call for the locksmith business. They need some local SEO that will get them ranked on google or any other mobile search engine for that matter quickly so that someone can give them a call and business can start rolling.

Anyone have any ideas or willing to help out? The pay rate was good and they said they have a lot of work coming down the pipe.

plus, Adwords and advertise free local service for next 12 hours then 50% off for another 12 (and ask the client to honor the word :)). He will get targeted traffic, you will get paid.

    P.S.:
Anyway they were killing time when you met them, so make them work. They can control sending the acknowledgement letters to the free ones and limit those to 15 or so. Not a bad thing to be generous to 15 neighbors.

Thanks. I set up the Google+ places for business page already and had them send the letter to verify. I'll probably do like 10 local directories, YELL. Also so do links and onPage work the same in with mobile sites for SEO purposes?

Not sure I understood your post clearly. What are the acknowledgement letters to the free ones?
What did you mean by Adwords and Advertise free local service? Like a g+ coupon or something?

Use adwords, get targeted local traffic (collect only local or those manageable for the start; how to get targeted local traffic through Adwords? Easy. Find it out) to your (client's) landing page. Get them to subscribe to your client's Locksmith service (they will for free and 50% off). How to design that page is up to you. Then send 15 (whatever) free service emails randomly, and about same with 50%-off offer. Begin the online business for your client. It shall begin; the moment locals subscribe to the service it begins.

You will get at least 1 paid client.... Now you'll also get paid. Hopefully.

Something like this. It's 1:45 AM here so I must be typing in my dream. :)

    P.S.:
Hire some competent SEO expert from BHW's BST section and fulfill the SEO related needs.
