New instagram update // manual follow & unfollow buttons not loading.

Hey guys,

I currently follow / unfollow around 500 a day manually on aged accounts and have been doing so for the last few months. Yesterday morning, I noticed a new update on the iOS Instagram native app. There's a few minor changes such as a slight colour and font change, but the main and most upsetting change is the follow and unfollow buttons. When you scroll down your followings list everything is normal until you get past about 100 accounts, then at this point all the unfollow buttons no longer load fully, instead all the buttons are just a grey button labelled 'LOADING') which don't do anything. So you can't just scroll down your list and manually unfollow quickly, instead the only way you can unfollow these accounts is to click into the account itself and then action, which is bad news as each unfollow is now a 3 or 4 click process. This is the same situation for manually bulk following too. I don't think this is a bug, it feels deliberate.

I wanted to see if everyone else has noticed this update, and whether anyone has a solution for this new problem? As it's causing serious concern.

P.s it looks like it's just iOS so far, this update hasn't yet been rolled out on Android, so everything is still normal on those devices.

that is what i did on my phone, if you can get a jailbroken iphone or rooted android and go back to the old version of instagram that has the old look of follow button or unfollow and so far it still works the old way it was until the last 2 days that instagram made the updates.

Once I have an app that does all I want, I just dont update any how I want. I first check the reviews, if they are okay, I'll proceed to download.

I just checked IG on my iPhone and experiencing exactly the same thing.

This shit happens on my iPhone too and I am not even following a lot of people. It's just the regular use of my account. Like I see a page giving a shoutout to someone and want to check their page and even on their profile it says Loading...
