Welcome to the wonderful world of BHW! Just curious, do you focus on a specific subject for your photography or is it non-specific?

Thanks! I started with street and documentary photography, and did that as a hobby as well as teaching some workshops for 10 years. Over the last 12 months I decided to do it professionally so I focused on Family Photography but doing it in a very candid and documentary style. So right now it's Family & Lifestyle photography in my local area (Vancouver BC).

What kind of businesses are your ideal customers? Since you are a photographer, I guess you provide a combo service of quality photography and instagram promotions

That was my initial hypotheses, that I could combine photography + Instagram. However I realised that providing creative services is a completely different business model than simple growth and advertising management services. It's art vs science. I love both, but it's way easier to start out with science. I want to run a bunch of tests to figure out my ideal business model, and it's harder to do when the product is subjective. Creative services also require higher touch customer relationships and more subjective perceptions of quality. So I decided to keep the art within the photography business, and the science within the agency business. No I run the photography business in an almost automated way, and put most of my time in the new agency business.
