Hey guys, let me tell you a bit about myself.

I've been making a full-time income from internet marketing for about a year now. The reason for this post - and why I'm thinking of going blackhat - is because I have a site - my main money site - which reached a peak of $4,500 a month. It was an Amazon review site, and on January 8th/9th traffic went down to 50% of what it had been. Sure, I used about 3/4 affiliate links per 500-800 word post, and the percentage of pages with affiliate links to those without was about 85%, but the content was thoroughly researched and users most definitely found it useful, judging by bounce rate and time on site. Nevertheless, I was hit - probably by some kind of filter that looks at something as simple as number of affiliate links to determine whether a site is a a thin affiliate site or not. God, how I wish I sold this site at its peak!

Since then, I've been working day and night to improve things, and the percentage of pages with affiliate links to those without is about 50% now. No changes. I've tried things on other sites that were hit during the same period, such as completely removing all affiliate links, but no changes either.

To put it simply, I'm fed up of Google, which is the reason for this post and why I'm thinking of going blackhat. I was thinking of going into CPA marketing and using paid ads to build traffic, but failure and spending lots of money in return really doesn't sit well with me, even though I won't have to use Google at all. This is why I'm thinking of continuing with Amazon affiliate sites. I know how to write a product review, do kw research, and ultimately make sales. I don't feel like now is the time to venture into adsense or cpa etc.

Not really sure if this is the right place to put this, and I know I have plenty of reading to do, but....

    1. I already own Scrapebox, a few high PR domains, and will probabaly get GSA Ranker too. I think those are the three biggies, but any other tools I need to be aware of? +1's, Facebook likes etc.?

    2. Do all of you guys build churn and burn sites? You simply want to rank as high as possible for however long as possible, make as much money as possible, and then move on?

    3. To me it seems that Google is little by little getting better and better at eliminating blackhat seo. They certainly have the resources with the billions they make each year. Is this right, or is it just propaganda from Google?

    4. I expect to do lots of testing and at the beginning sites will inevitably get hit sooner rather than later. Therefore, if a site does get hit, can you remove it from the index and publish the content on a new site? This would save a hell of a lot of time.

    Thanks
