    Hi all,

I've been using blackhatworld for about a year now (on and off as I'm currently traveling about a bit) - I've always found something interesting or helpful to read when I come on here.

Anyway, I've just knocked together my first Joomla site and wondered if anyone would be happy to have a look and point out any flaws! It's not made to be a great money maker, I only started on it last week so not expecting much from the big G yet.. But worried that the Alexa rank is 20,000,000! (Have never in my life seen a rank so bad!)

The site address is roundmyworld.com (sorry I can't link it for you all, not got the 15 posts yet!)

Have built 2 link wheels (thanks to everyone that mentioned them on here!)

anyway, I won't take anymore of your time

    Tom

My first impression as a non web designer is that there is a LOT going on and no direction for the viewer.
What am I supposed to do or see? What link is the most important, etc.

    Just my first impressions.

If you're trying to push something (cpa offer, etc.) you HAVE to tell them exactly what to do (people are dumb). ANd make it noticeable.

Why do you think all these CPA pages have a HUGE BUY NOW button on the middle of the page?

Could you elaborate some more on what you want the site to be or do?

    my 2 cents...

Thanks Jody - Think I've had my head in the sand a bit too much at this point and lost the way a little!

Will make a few changes to the landing page and see if I can get a for more users signing up.

(the point of the site is an information hub for travelers / a place to share travel stories or create a kind of blog..)
