Noticed a lot of threads about people mentioning this. I've been hit on some of my smaller niche sites. No clue why, each had about 30 articles, all unique... anyhow... here's an interesting thread:

    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=508fcb723f4f61e1&hl=en

This chick runs a site and per her 12:06 post:

"We get quite a few thousand clicks on our ads every day"

It is a tech site... so I'd guess pretty decent paying clicks. This chick is a baller.

My websites have been hit and the only thing that could get this is the bounce rate.

I'm curios what is a good bounce rate and what does the bounce rate/exit from analytics mean. I don't think it's about the position/number of Adsense ads, it could only be about how many people return to the site or hit back button immediatly from your site.

Any ideas on how to recover from this?

Could we recover from this Panda 2.5 update even before the next Panda 2.6 update?

    Ideas?

After I get everything set back up from my move, I'd like to create a massive thread and potentially a questionnaire/form to get feedback from those recently affected.

I've noticed large fluctuations in the SERPs as well, and would like to get some better data as to why it's happening. I've got a few hypothesis based on the sites that I've seen drop and those that gained rankings.

Anyone have questions they'd like me to add to the questionnaire/form based on theories or ideas that you may have?

One of our sites has been moving up and down from #1 to #4 over the past 2 days. It seems to change position every hour. I have yet to be hit by any update - but I am in the UK.

My sites actually improve greatly on rankings in the last 2-3 days since the last drop in June. I've been doing some heavy backlinking work on them recently though. Hopefully it will go up.

I'm lucky enough of the fact that my site hasn't really been affected my any updates in the past year, although my page rank did slide from PR4 to PR3.

Being in a serious G dance is a good thing, it means their software still doesn't know where to place your site; now is the time to keep hitting it with more backlinks, bookmarks and rss links.

My site which disappeared to #300 positions from page 1 for all the keywords during the panda-march has now have improved during the last week and most of the keywords are in page 3,4,5

    I hope this change stays.

I actually want Google to keep on updating their algo, takes out the trash sites so less competition for me.

I have a few sites that are 1-2-3-4 or 2-3-4 and that scares me a bit as it's not very natural. It could be my internal linking or the way I construct my titles, but although it's fun at the moment - I'm afraid it may not last much longer.
